On the afternoon of November 6, School of Economics held the awarding ceremony of new-type think tank bases of Economic Committee of Fujian Provincial CPPCC. Participants included Director Jiang Rongxing and Deputy Director Zou Guohui of Economic Committee of Fujian Provincial CPPCC, Deputy Secretary Chen Xiaohong of FNU Party Committee, officials from Economic Committee, and staffs from United Front Department of FNU and School of Economics.
Jiang Rongxing announced on the ceremony that, the new-type think tank bases established by Economic Committee of Fujian Provincial CPPCC aim to fully fulfill CPPCC’s duties and functions of coordination. The bases will provide decision-making and consulting services for Provincial Party Committee, the government and CPPCC by relying on talents and intelligence advantages of FNU and by obtaining high-quality and valuable research results through in-depth researches on major decisions and deployments of Provincial Party Committee and the government as well as the annual key consultations of the Provincial CPPCC. Chen Xiaohong pointed out in her speech that FNU would strive to build the bases into the one with powerful influence and innovation by strengthening cooperation with Economic Committee of Fujian Provincial CPPCC and giving full play to our disciplinary advantages, expert wisdom and scientific research characteristics.
It is reported that Economic Committee of Fujian Provincial CPPCC awarded 3 units the new think tank bases.
