The forum, jointly hosted by the National Center for Schooling Development Programme and Fujian Provincial Department of Education, and undertaken by FNU College of Computer and Cyber Security, was successfully held in the Hongda Hall on Qishan Campus of FNU on December 1. FNU Vice President Chen Qinghua attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. And more than 300 experts and scholars from government departments, universities, industries, and research institutions in countries and regions like China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Macau, Taiwan, including Professor Ma Jianfeng from Xidian University, a member of the Cyberspace Security Discipline Review Group of the State Council’s Academic Degrees Committee, Liu Minwen, Party Committee Member and Chief Engineer of Fujian Radio and Television Network Group, Professor Zhang Xinpeng of Fudan University, also the Executive Deputy Director of the Research Office at Shanghai University, Professor Xie Kun of Hunan University, and Professor Qian Haifeng, Director of the “Digital Silk Road” International Joint Lab of Trustworthy Intelligent Software under the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, attended the event online or offline.
Chen Qinghua in his speech said that FNU has long focused on national strategies and regional economic and social development needs, attached a lot of importance to the development of cyberspace security discipline, and continually provided strong support for the national strategy for cyberspace security and the construction of digital China in terms of talent training, industry-education integration, and applications of the achievements. He hoped that the forum will serve as a platform to foster consensus, pool efforts, conduct exchanges and interactions of wisdom on the theme of “Cyberspace Security and Digital Application,” and share academic innovations and research achievements to contribute “Chinese solutions” and “Chinese wisdom” to global Internet governance and digital transformation.
The opening ceremony also witnessed the appointment of Professor Ma Jianfeng as the Chief Scientist of the Fujian Provincial Key Lab of Network Security and Cryptology, and the unveiling ceremony of the “Cloud-Network Security Integrated Collaborative Innovation Center.” The forum featured a main venue and four sub-venues, where the experts and scholars made 24 high-level academic reports, centering around such topics as “Collaborative Security of Wireless Cloud-Network-Terminal Networks,” “From Information Hiding to Function Hiding,” “Network Anomaly Detection Based on Low-Rank Decomposition,” and “Construction and Exploration of the ‘Digital Silk Road’ International Joint Lab of Trustworthy Intelligent Software.”
