From December 18 to December 19, the Fifth Annual Conference of Professional Committee of Engineering Psychology of China Psychological Society was held in Fuzhou. The conference was co-sponsored by Professional Committee of Engineering Psychology of China Psychological Society, School of Psychology of FNU and Fujian Psychological Society. With the theme of “Four-Oriented Psychology”, the conference was held not just offline but also online. Nearly a thousand persons participated in the conference, including experts, scholars and students from psychology discipline, information discipline, life discipline, management discipline, engineering discipline, social sciences and other disciplines, as well as managers and practitioners of related companies.
Zheng Jiajian, vice president of FNU, attended the opening ceremony on the morning of December 18. He pointed out in his speech that engineering psychology is an important discipline that promotes construction of the social informatization and intelligentization, and the socialism modernization. He hoped that experts will provide valuable suggestions on the construction of our school's psychology discipline.
Ge Liezhong, professor of Zhejiang University and chairman of Professional Committee of Engineering Psychology of China Psychological Society, indicated in his speech that ideas and opinions about the latest achievements and development trends of theoretical research and applied research from experts and scholars in engineering psychology and related fields will further promote the prosperity and development of our country’s engineering psychology, strengthen the deep cooperation of enterprises, schools and research institutions, and promote our country’s innovative development of technology and design.
It is reported that the annual conference carried out 11 theme reports, and 3 theme workshops on “Engineering Psychology and Modern Transportation”, “Interpersonal Collaboration and Human Crew”, and “Cognition and Network”.
