Recently, the winners list of the 7th Fujian College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, hosted by the Educational Department of Fujian Province, was announced. In the competition, FNU won twelve gold, eight silver and eleven bronze awards. FNU also won the Excellent Organization Award of the Higher Education Main Track, the Higher Education Collective Award of the Higher Education Main Track and the Higher Education Collective Award of the Youth Red-Dream-Building Journey Track.
Relying on its advantages of disciplines and human resources, FNU has given full play to the role of the innovation and entrepreneurship park in incubation and cultivation, and built a professional mass innovation space as well as education and practice training platforms led by innovation and entrepreneurship. Through conducting College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition training camps, FNU has organized multiple rounds of online and offline intensive training for participating teachers and students to continuously upgrade the projects, and create a strong atmosphere of “three innovations”. After several selections, a total of 35 projects of FNU entered the provincial competition network review, of which 19 projects entered the finals live competition.
FNU has attached great importance to the development of this event. Since the start of this competition, school leaders and people in charge of related units have visited the participating teachers and students many times. On the day of the final, Li Xuan, deputy secretary of FNU Party Committee, went to the scene to observe and guide, encouraging participating teachers and students to enhance their wisdom and skills through innovation and entrepreneurship, exercise their willpower through hard work, and bravely shoulder the mission of the times with passionate youthful practice.
