Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of approved Sino-foreign cooperative education programs in the second half of 2019, and the undergraduate cooperative program on pre-school education, jointly run by Pittsburgh State University (PSU) and FNU, was one of them. A total of forty-four Sino-foreign cooperative education programs have been approved this year. Among the colleges and universities in Fujian Province that have applied, FNU is the only university that has been approved. Up to now, there are six Sino-foreign cooperative education programs in our school.
It is reported that the program, open to students throughout China, will adopt the 3 + 1 cooperative education mode, with a 4-year school system. Then our school will introduce the courses, textbooks, and teachers from PSU. After graduation, the students can receive diplomas both from FNU and PSU.
Founded in 1903, PSU is a comprehensive university with a century-old history and enjoys a high reputation worldwide.
