On March 8, Yoichi Terashita, Vice President of Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) led a delegation to visit Fujian Normal University (FNU). Lai Hairong, Vice President of FNU, met with the delegation along with heads of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and College of International Education.
Lai Hairong extended a warm welcome to the guests. He said that cooperation in running schools between KCGI and FNU is FNU’s first Chinese-Foreign collaborative education program, which serves as an important way for both sides to strengthen cooperation and exchange for more than a decade. Lai hoped that under new historical conditions, both sides will broaden the channels of exchange, expand cooperation and jointly push forward the high-quality development of Sino-Japanese education.
Yoichi Terashita expressed appreciation for the hospitality extended by FNU and said that more than a decade of cooperation and exchange has promoted the quality of education of both sides, hoping both sides will further expand exchanges and elevate them to a new level to achieve a win-win situation.
At the meeting, both sides also conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on student-related programs and cadre training programs.
