From April 26 to 30, the Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland hosted the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (IEIG). This is the first offline exhibition since the year 2020, and more than 800 exhibitors from nearly 40 countries and regions displayed approximately 1,000 invention projects. FNU Professor Tan Xiaodi participated in the exhibition and obtained the gold medal for his scientific and technological invention project “Multidimensional Holographic Data Storage Technology in the Era of Big-data.”
Established in 1973, IEIG was jointly organized by the Swiss Confederation Government, the Canton of Geneva, the Municipality of Geneva and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is among the longest and largest invention exhibitions in the globe. In addition, FNU has never before participated in the invention exhibition.
