On the afternoon of January 8, Pan Riming’s Ink Wash Painting Exhibition entitled “Cangshan in My Memory” kicked off at the exhibition hall of College of Fine Art, FNU. Chen Ji, vice-chief of Fujian Provincial Department of Culture, Weng Zhenxin, chairman of Fujian Artists Association, Guo Dongjian, vice-chairman of Fujian Artists Association and former dean of Fujian Painting Academy, Qiu zhijun, deputy curator of Fujian Art Gallery, Tu Rong, vice-president of FNU, people in charge of the Press Center and heads of the party and administration of College of Fine Art attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition.
More than 80 pieces of works of Pan Riming’s are on display, and the exhibition will last till January 15. The works on display reproduce Mr. Pan’s memories about Cangshan, which has been changing in the past years and show Mr. Pan’s extraordinary composition levels and painting techniques, which incorporate paintings into his daily life and demonstrate his subtle observation. Meanwhile, Mr. Pan donated the painting “A Panoramic View of Cangshan” to FNU and the painting “A Panoramic View of Fuzhou” to College of Fine Art. Tu Rong, vice-president of FNU presented the certificate of collection to Mr. Pan on behalf of FNU.
