The list of projects approved by 2017 National Social Science Fund and National Social Science Youth Fund, exclusive of those in specially listed fields, was publicized early this month. On the list are 20 ones applied for by FNU professors, including 4 key projects, 10 general projects and 6 youth fund projects, with the total ranking 50th among the universities countrywide, 12th among the normal universities countrywide and 1st among Fujian provincial universities. The rate of approval hits 18% among the shortlisted from FJNU, with the national average being 14.6%. The FNU projects approved are as follows:
